Calling Card Synopsis

As the Ace of Diamonds proposes to his girlfriend, little do they know it will be the last night they spend together as they're invited to a poker game the following evening at their friend's house.

Meanwhile, the Queen of Hearts plots her next move and receives a shipment full of weapons, in addition to the names, photographs, blood types, and zodiac signs of her next victims; the Ace of Diamonds' friends.

The Ace of Diamonds loses his money and exits early. As soon as he leaves his friends' house, he finds a bank-note with a phone number; he decides to keep the bank-note for the sole reason it's the only money he'll win that night. He's ambushed by masked individuals and dragged to his friend's house.

Inside, the Queen of Hearts stands side by side with her three loyal soldiers. Her plan is to take the money on the table, to kill the Ace of Diamonds' friends, and to frame him for their murder. She is simply doing this to achieve her dreams, and for one of them she needs capital resources. Her first dream is to be carried across Prodigiosus on two white stallions after she dies. The second is for her name to live amongst the stars of the universe.

Police officers arrest the Ace of Diamonds and, due to the insurmountable evidence placed in front of a jury of his peers, he is found guilty of murder. Whilst maintaining his innocence, he enters prison with one mindset, to leave as quickly as possible and bring the people who murdered his fiancée to justice.

A prisoner befriends the Ace of Diamonds and tells him a story of man who shared the same story as the Ace of Diamonds'. A mysterious figure posts an envelope in the Ace of Diamonds' cell stating he must solve a riddle to escape the prison. He solves the riddle and escapes. Seconds after his escape, an ex-police officer catches up with the Ace of Diamonds and reveals she has obtained information on the people who killed his fiancée.

An officer informs the Queen of Hearts the Ace of Diamonds has escaped, but she remains calm as only one of her three soldiers knows where she lives. Her peaceful nature transforms into a vengeful rage when she hears the Ace of Diamonds left a playing card by a soldier's body after an accidental killing.

There are only two visible outcomes: the Queen of Hearts will remain the ruler of Prodigiosus or the Ace of Diamonds will complete his mission and gain revenge.
